"Playing Up" is encouraged!
Assessment days are scheduled on a weather permitting basis. Some years we may not be able to or need to schedule assessment days. Be on the lookout for an email from the league if an assessment day is scheduled.
When will practices and games be?
Practices are scheduled by Coaches once the season begins.
Expect to play 2-4 times per week between games and practices, depending on level of play and Coach availability.
Games are held on Weekday evenings and a schedule will be posted once teams are established.
Example: T-Ball Games will be on Mondays and Wednesdays. The field is also available on Tuesdays for additional practices if the Coach wants/is able to schedule them.
When is the Little League Season?
Early May- late June
My child has never played before, how do I register them?
Players can play up but not down. You will need to register your child for the division that matches their age/grade. The system will automatically assign the division based on your child's date of birth and the cut off dates. Even if your child has never played, we believe that everyone starts somewhere! We are a small town program and do not expect or project perfection. Our goal is to teach the fundamentals of baseball and softball and encourage good sportsmanship, respect and dignity, on and off the field. As long as your child is willing to learn and play, your child will fit right in!
What equipment is required?
For baseball, all players are required to have their own mitt. Cleats are not required but encouraged for minors and up. We do have bats and helmets for all divisions, but if you want to bring your own bat, it must follow the Little League bat rules (see below).
For softball, all players are required to have their own mitt. We do have bats and helmets for both divisions. Pitchers are required to wear a face mask. It is encouraged that in fielders also wear one, but not required. We will provide face masks for the pitchers but if you would prefer to purchase your own, Amazon has one that is inexpensive. You can find that one here.
I want to purchase a bat for my child, which one should I get?
Due to our affiliation with Little League, all bats must meet their standards. Please follow the link below for their most current information:

What size uniform does my child wear?
T-ball and coach pitch receive a t-shirt and hat. You can plan to select the size they normally wear (ex. kids 5/6 would be a Youth Small).
You will need to enter sizing information for pants and socks as this is a required field, but t-ball will not receive those items.
Minors and Majors receive a jersey, pants and hat. You will want to select the size they normally wear in these categories.
(Ex. Size 8/10 would be a Youth Medium. Size 12-14 would be a Youth Large.)
If they are in between sizes, size up. The pants do have belt loops. You will need to purchase a belt and socks.)
Seniors receive all that MInors and Majors do as well socks.
All of softball receives a jersey, pants and socks. Sizing is the same as above for baseball sizing.
